A final steam can truly elevate the look of your dress, ensuring you look your absolute best on your special day.
For optimal results, professional steaming is recommended 12–36 hours prior to the ceremony. I understand this timing may not always be feasible, and therefore offer an on-the-day service, with steaming completed no later than 2 hours before you are required to dress.
This service is the final steam for your gown. Following completion, the garment must remain hung outside of the dress bag in a low-humidity environment to allow the fabric to set.
What to expect from this service:
Steaming will be conducted at your preferred location, whether your residence or wedding venue. It is strongly recommended that you select the location where you will be preparing for the ceremony, as the gown requires adequate time to set following treatment and should not be transported thereafter.
For this white-glove service, I utilise a professional garment steamer (which, while bulky, ensures the best result). Your gown will be handled with the utmost care and attention to detail, taking into consideration the layers, style, fabric, and any embellishments. Upon completion of the gown, I will proceed to steam any accessories you may have, such as an underskirt or veil. All items will then be hung, prepared for wearing.
Finally, I will steam any other garments that you have booked in for this service, this may include bridesmaids, Mother-of-the-Bride/Groom or other guests outfits.
This service can be booked for the bridal gown only, or you can add bridesmaid/flowergirl dresses and garments from the wider bridal party for a small fee per outfit.
