Hi, I'm Carrie and for years I worked in the bridal industry as a Bridal Consultant. In addition to conducting bridal appointments, a significant amount of my time was spent steaming dresses, carrying out dress fittings and working closely with seamstresses, acquiring the expertise to assist brides during the final preparations for their big day. 

During this time, a bridal dressing service was something that was repeatedly sought after. I always dedicated time during a Bride's final fitting, to teach Mothers of the Bride, Bridesmaids, Best Friends etc, how to dress the bride properly. We focused on ensuring the bodice sat perfectly, the laces were tightened appropriately (while still allowing for comfort), and any unwanted 'overhang' was neatly smoothed out. However, I often concluded the appointment with the question, "Are you certain you cannot be there on the morning?"

Fast forward a few years, after having my first child, I started a small business helping brides on the morning (or afternoon) of their wedding, in the moments crucial to pulling everything wedding outfit-related together, to achieve their long-awaited, dream look.

Following the arrival of my other children, my business was put on ice. However, now that they are growing up, I have decided to relaunch my Bridal Dressing Service, in addition to offering Professional Dress Steaming and Underskirt Hire.
